Today I watch those of us who swore we’d never make war, would swear we’d never let our sons go to war,.. and yet we were lied to and tricked, robbed of our children and of our fortunes while the machines of war still grind on chewing up our net worth, the country’s resources, and our children.

I cannot stand as a right wing supporter any longer.
I cannot stand as a businessman who simply is Right to be right.
I cannot stand watching the past president and his father extort this great country for their own means and then run off to Paraguay to monopolize natural resources there while basking in an extradition proof land if necessary.
I pray for you, Mr. Ellsberg, and for those who worked with you.
I pray for another Daniel Ellsberg today.
I pray for truth and a bloodless existence.
I pray we shall no longer make war for its own sake.
I pray this land may be once again recognized for its principles.
I pray this land may one day find a decade,…
just one decade,.. where war is no longer central to our existence.
I pray for the transparency and freedom some 90,000 pages of truth may insure.
I pray the criminals who control this country will go straight to hell,…
and hurry up about it.

We citizens of this great country owe so much to you, Mr. Ellsberg for turning us toward Truth and away from war without cause other than to enrich the war machines. We owe you for the fall of a presidency whose vanity, smug death grip on power, and hate of truth and light dealt this country the loss of my brothers, the loss of two millions and the loss of our dignity.
We owe much to your kind of people who take chances in the name of Truth.

As a successful businessman I myself turned my back on Truth,. focused on business, the legal tender, I retired at age 49, faced the suffering of a daughter struck with Lupus, and have myself suffered a stroke. I fell from grace with the credit agencies,.. this is itself a death sentence of sorts,.. and I have worked my way back. I view the world in a very different way today. I am fed up with war,. fed up with society’s disdain for compassion, fed up with impatience with those who are weak and in need of a helping hand.
I cannot believe we are so struck with our own convictions of superiority and purity as a christian society that we cannot find room in the world for anyone who thinks differently that we.
War is Not the Answer.
We cannot be whipped into a warring frenzy with words such as “remember the Maine”, and “Imminent danger of WMDs” at the will of the foundries and fortune mongers.

So long as Imagined fear can be manufactured,
so will guns will be manufactured,
hence we will then have something Real to fear.
Corporatocracies and a few “superiors” govern us as they did long ago.
They did not go away, they simply bought our souls
and paid us off to pave the way,… now they kill again with impunity.
As a father I look back at the principles we espoused,.. traded for the comforts of dying old with our toys at the expense of our own children’s blood.
What happened to the truths you spoke forty years ago?
They were buried along with the truths we know are hidden today.
Mr. Ellsberg,..
we need Another Mr. Ellsberg.

Why? Because the backlash would never end. And considering how many people think that he’s a weak President, killing a hero to many would only make Assange a martyr. What’s the point of that?
