Unfortunately, there are no Daniel Ellsberg's this time around. After years of deaths, costs in the Billions of $$$, we are no closer to getting out of this mess either. Led into this with lies about WMD's and the fruitless pursuit of terrorists of which would probably be far less of if we didn't keep sticking our noses into places we shouldn't be. Howard Hunt to try to do Daniel bodily injury as well as to use the press to falsify the evidence of JFK's involvement in the Diem assassination. ("...Hunt mentioned the two cables he had fabricated at Colson's urging, implicating President Kennedy in President Diem's murder." ) By referring to this as "evidence" of a "coup sponsored by President Kennedy..." (page 424) without the clarifying adjective 'falsified' the assassins would have us doing their bidding.
