Daniel Ellsberg has been awarded an honorary degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. The presentation ceremony was held in San Francisco on 1/21/23. Speakers included UMass President Mary Meehan, Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy, Dean Barbara Krauthamer, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and (by video) Lynda Resnick and former Governor Jerry Brown.
